The Everlast bag challenges traditional gender barriers and norms in fashion. For decades, handbags have been seen as exclusively feminine accessories, creating stigma around men who carry them. By drawing on the masculine symbolism and rugged aesthetic of boxing, we reimagined the handbag as an object that transcends gender. The result is a piece that blends strength and style, something anyone can wear with confidence, regardless of gender.
Upcycling in motion
This product was created from a reclaimed Everlast punching bag. Every part (incl. chain links, handles, and logo) was upcycled and given new purpose. After carefully deconstructing the bag, we explored new design directions through sketches and concept development, reimagining it as a backpack or handbag.
